Professional Licenses

To practice as a Social Worker in the State of Minnesota, USA, one needs to be licensed by the Minnesota Board of Social Work. I have been licensed since 1989 with a clean record of practice. I earned my Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LISCW) license in 2003 after three years of supervised clinical practice and after passing the Association of Social Work Boards(ASWB) Clinical examination. Professional Associations

I am a member in good standing of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) in the US. My ID number is 886477245. I also conform my practice to the NASW Code of Ethics.

I am also a member of the Swiss foundation ASCA. My ASCA therapist number is RCC F437162.

Right to Practice in Switzerland

Currently, I am inscribed in the Register of Complementary Practices by the Canton of Geneva as a Psychotherapist, giving me the right to practice in this Canton of Switzerland.

Education

I earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame in 1980. I then returned to school and earned a Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University in 1985. I have included a copy of my undergraduate and graduate diplomas via the links on the left.

My social work license required that I obtain 15 hours of Continuing Education credits per year to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field. Through the link on the left, you will find a listing of the courses which I have taken since 1992.
